Ililani Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to supporting ʻohana in Hawaiʻi impacted by cancer through the provision of unexpected blessings and resources.

ILILANI FOUNDATION

Ililani means "unexpected rain" in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (the Hawaiian language). In Hawaiian culture, rain can symbolize both life's challenges and its blessings.

A cancer diagnosis often feels like walking through a storm. The Ililani Foundation exists to bring the unexpected rain of hope, aloha, and encouragement to kamaʻāina and Hawaiʻi resident cancer survivors and their ʻohana.

The three pillars of rain in our logo represent how we serve families across Hawaiʻi:

Resources: We provide practical resources, makana (gifts and gift cards), and educational support to help families navigate cancer treatment and recovery.

Relief Care: Through our signature ʻOhana Fun Days, we create personalized experiences that bring joy, rest, and connection to adult cancer survivors currently in treatment and their families. With the support of our Magic Makers - our generous donors, businesses, and community partners - we provide activities, meals, gift cards, and other thoughtful makana that remind families they are loved and not alone.

We prioritize serving kamaʻāina families in Hawaiʻi who may be facing financial hardship, with care extending to their immediate ʻohana, including keiki (18 and under).

Scholarships: As we grow, we hope to provide higher education and trade school scholarships for socioeconomically challenged keiki in Hawaiʻi who have lost a parent to cancer.

Together, we are bringing hope, healing, and aloha - one ʻohana at a time.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

BE A MAGIC MAKER!

Ililani Foundation provides resources, makana (gifts), and our signature ʻOhana Fun Day experiences to families affected by cancer throughout Hawaiʻi. Everything we do is made possible by our Magic Makers - the generous donors, businesses, and community partners who help us bring hope, encouragement, and aloha to local families.

Whether you choose to give monthly, make a one-time donation, or partner through your business by donating goods, services, meals, activities, or gift cards, every gift helps create moments of joy, rest, and connection for families facing cancer.

If your business offers goods or services such as activities, meals, clothing, bags, or gift cards, we’d love to collaborate! By donating or partnering, you help bless local families with moments of rest, fun, and connection. Every gesture, big or small, creates magic.

LET’S MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN!

Ililani Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 88-0729006). Every tax-deductible gift is used thoughtfully and transparently to directly support local families in Hawaiʻi.
